Application advice

Applying our products correctly is key to ensuring a perfect final finish that will stand the test of time, find answers to some common queries other people have had when using our products.

At least 2 coats of primer are required. Primer must be applied by brush as opposed to roller or spray application.

For normal drying products, follow the guidance of the manufacture of the adhesive/floor covering. This will generally require the floor to be below 75% relative humidity.  

Refer to the datasheet information. A flow table and ring should be used for machine mixing.

Coverage & shelf life

It's important to understand what the coverage is for our products in the way you want to apply them so that you can quantify the total amount required for your project. Similarly, shelf life and storage requirements are important to ensure the long-term effectiveness of our products.

The shelf life should be on the datasheet and the packaging. For most products, the shelf life is 12 months.

No, the date on the bags is the manufacture date.

No, never add more water than recommended or try to re-mix material after its pot life.
