Depending on specific factors of your project such as cost, space available, or reaction to fire certifications, we have different types of rigid insulation boards available in different thicknesses to meet the required thermal performance.
webertherm insulation options
Insulation board types
webertherm MFD
webertherm MFD is made of non-combustible mineral fibre wool and is available in thicknesses of 30-200mm at a size of 1200x600mm.
This type of insulation is slightly more expensive to install, however where the highest reaction to fire classification is required this is the best option. An added benefit of this type of insulation is also its noise absoprtion properties which makes it ideal where acoustics are a key consideration.
webertherm EPS
webertherm EPS is made of expanded polystyrene and is our most cost-effective option available in thicknesses of 30-200mm at a size of 1200x600mm.
This type of insulation is lightweight, non-toxic and completely recyclable. What's more, it's easy to install and is very durable so it will perform for the lifetime of the building.
